Marketing and Lending to Physicians and Medical Practices

This course focuses on the analytical and marketing skills necessary for bankers servicing the professional doctor and medical services markets and provides participants with an enhanced appreciation of the importance of good credit quality in support of the bank’s profit goals and objectives.
Through a combination of lecture and case study work, this course provides participants with the information needed to communicate with medical practice managers and physicians, both as customers and prospective clients, as well as an understanding of the current health care issues affecting medical practice groups today. Finally, the analytical skills necessary to review the financial performance of medical practice groups and to underwrite loans accordingly will be presented.
